Patricia Buchanan VP of PR and Marketing Communications

Patty has 20 years experience in media and communications.

She began her career as a journalist for the Adweek Group, writing and editing articles on marketing, public relations and advertising for several publications, including Marketing Week, Marketing Computers and PR Week. She then shifted into editing financial and business news for Knight-Ridder Financial, based first in New York and then in London. After a break to finish graduate school in the UK, she returned to New York and served as an editor at TheStreet.com, a financial news web site.

Patty made the shift into communications consulting at 2Bridge, a software company serving the financial services industry. In her role as client relationship manager, Patty provided large financial institutions with intranet and extranet advisory services.  In addition, she has been a frequent contributor to Global Custodian, a magazine targeted at investment banks, asset management firms and custodial banks.

Patty received her B.S. from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and her Masters in International Relations from St. Andrews University in Scotland.
